Food is good. Takes forever if you want delivery so plan for pick up. Worth it though!

The food is great, always exactly what we ordered and hot! The staff is friendly and easy to order with. We really love the option of delivery too, on those days we just need it. So glad we have them!

Love this place for a QUICK & DELICIOUS meal!! I love that they deliver and that they are so fast! The most I have waited after ordering a meal around 6:00 is 20 minutes!

Fortune Cookie has been around for as long as I can remember. Chinese food doesn't get any better than their house fried rice. When I lived in California my mom and I would visit relatives in Maryland once a year, and I think I was just as excited about Fortune Cookie house fried rice as seeing my family. I just can't say enough about the fried rice. The rest of their food is delicious as well, and it's consistently delicious. In all the years I've been getting food from Fortune Cookie, they've never had an off day. It's Chinese food that will make your heart smile every time you eat it. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the prices are great. The one thing to note is that Fortune Cookie is a takeout place. There are tables and hard plastic booths to sit at while you wait for your food, and you can eat it there if you choose, but I don't think it would be comfortable for an extended period of time, and you aren't going to get waited on. I recommend calling in your order ahead of time to minimize your wait, and definitely order the house fried rice.

This is an excellent lunch spot in Prince Frederick! The food is typical "American Chinese" and they do it well. The lunch special is a terriffic deal and includes all your standard entrees, pork fried rice, and soup or a soda - for under $6. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because it lacks uniqueness.

Really fast and good Chinese food. The important part is my order was ready for me when they said it would be ready. And it was correct!!! Spring rolls are pretty damn good too.

Best take out Chinese around. The owner is always polite and friendly. Hot and sour soup, cream cheese wontons, sweet and sour chicken, general tsos chicken, and pork lo mein are among the best for take out. Definitely my go to Chinese place and I've converted many after they tried it.

Food had very little flavor. Wonton soup was watered down. The meat to vegetable ratio is way off in vegetables favor.

Decent chinese food but absolutely AWFUL service. I just called in an order and specifically said "with WHITE RICE" 3 times. When the food was delivered, my order consisted of fried rice. I called them back and politely told them the situation. The woman replied, "well, I heard you wrong. Just eat it." I replied that I, nor my family, would ever order from them again. Unless you want incorrect orders, order from one of the many other chinese foods in the area!!!! Bleh!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
